Job summary

X-Ray Industries, an Applus+ company, seeks a Level 2 NDT Technician to join our Niles, IL facility. The role involves setting up and calibrating equipment, performing PT/MT tests, interpreting results, and documenting findings in accordance with NAS-410 and internal procedures.

Candidates must be NAS-410 Level 2 certified, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to train Level 1 personnel. This position offers an indoor, stationary work environment with shift options and no travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifiable to Level 2 per NAS 410.
• Must be U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate PT/MT equipment.
• Conduct tests and interpret, evaluate, and document results.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
• Follow NAS 410 and company procedures; prepare work instructions when required.
