Job summary

APPS/Portamedic is seeking flexible part-time phlebotomy support to perform mobile exams, collect specimens, and conduct vitals through patient visits in a 60-mile radius from your location. You’ll schedule your own hours, communicate case status with the branch, and potentially participate in blood studies and trials.

A centrifuge, smartphone/tablet, and printing capability are required. Must have current licensure (RN/LPN/Med Tech/Phlebotomy/Paramedic as applicable), three years of phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Current licensure as required by your state for phlebotomy services.
• At least three years of phlebotomy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills for interfacing with clients and staff.

Job description

PART TIME/SUPPLEMENT INCOME.

THIS WILL NOT REPLACE YOUR JOB.

Blood draws and driving required.

Must be willing to cover 60 mile radius from your location.

Responsibilities May Include

• Performing mobile paramedical exams (health history, vitals, obtain and complete specimens (blood, urine, etc.), and may complete ECG tracings.
• The ability to schedule your own hours; you tell us when you are available to assist with cases. We also do blood studies and trials.
• Must have strong and continued communication with the branch office regarding case status.

Qualified Candidates Must Have

• Current licensure, certificate of medical training (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy and Paramedics) as required by your state for completion of phlebotomy services.
• Must have at least THREE years of current phlebotomy experience, valid driver's license, and own reliable transportation with valid insurance.
• The position requires excellent communication, organization, and technical skills: the interpersonal skills to interface extensively with clients, management, and office staff, as well as a high level of courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
• The candidate must also have a centrifuge, cell phone, printer, and Android/iPad tablet. Fixed compensation $40 per case completed. Trip fees covered after 40 miles round trip. You will get no less than 25 cents a mile after the 40 mile deduction.
