Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park is seeking caring Caregivers/Med Techs for the Day shift (7am–3pm). The role supports residents with daily living activities, medication management, and progress reporting in a warm senior community environment.

We value reliability, compassion, and honesty. Eligible candidates may possess CNA or caregiver experience, and must obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days. Merrill Gardens offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous caregiver experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or as needed.

Our Caregivers/MedTechs:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.

• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
