Job summary

Barrington of West Chester is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time day and night shifts in our assisted living community. You will administer medications, assist with admissions and care plans, and help ensure high-quality resident care in a supportive team environment.

• Must have an LPN license current in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient in English for job duties, supervisor communication and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with regulations.
• May assist with admissions, assessments and documentation.
• Develop and complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• Monitor clinical systems for wounds or infection control under direction.
• Provide health-related consultations within the community.
• Notify physicians or family of health changes and document properly.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• May handle discharges, assessments and clinical documentation as needed.
