Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is seeking a part-time Limited Term Community Health Worker to assist with health division projects at the Red Cliff Community Health Center. The role focuses on gaining exposure to rural, tribal healthcare through diverse tasks and community health activities.
You will handle data collection, confidentiality, and participate in meetings, with duties that may evolve to meet organizational needs.

Assist with various Red Cliff Health Division projects. The goal of this internship is to provide exposure to a wide variety of health activities so the student may gain a better understanding of rural, Tribal community healthcare.

Indian preference will be applied in the case of equally qualified applicants, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Preference will be given to Red Cliff youth, but other enrolled tribal members will also be considered in the case of equally qualified candidates. Considerable daily contact will be made with the general public, tribal leadership, Program Directors and staff, consultant(s), and the Tribal Community.
The duties assigned to this position involve standing for periods of time, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying. Items may be placed in overhead storage or shelving.
Red Cliff Community Health Center; office and clinic settings. Exposure to hazards of the health care industry. All Tribal Buildings are smoke free.
