Job summary

Bishop Gadsden in Charleston, SC is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our skilled nursing team on a part-time basis. You will provide high-quality nursing care, manage medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support residents’ health and well-being.

The ideal candidate holds an SC LPN license, is comfortable supervising CNAs, and is committed to professionalism, safety, and respectful resident interactions in a premier senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and coordinate care across teams.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
• Partner with residents, families, physicians, and care teams to deliver exceptional service.

A Typical Day:

• Oversee resident care, medication administration, and clinical documentation.

Requirements

What We Need From A Candidate:

• Must be licensed (LPN) by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license
• Must have the ability and knowledge to act in a supervisory capacity
• BLS certified OR willingness to get certified within 3 months of employment.
• Consistently demonstrate professionalism and clinical skills
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
