Job summary

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to perform day-to-day laundry duties, maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to ensure a steady supply of linen for residents.

In this role, you will follow the directions of the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator, participate in background screening, and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to high-quality resident care. Daily pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide To perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, and as may be directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and to ensure that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Must speak and understand English.


• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a High School Graduate.


• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
