Job summary

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-time Laundry Aide to perform the daily activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary facility and an adequate linen supply for residents. Qualifications include being at least 18, speaking and understanding English, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education: high school graduate; prior LTC experience preferred.

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide To perform the day‑to‑day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, and as may be directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and to ensure that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
