Job summary

Waterfront Rescue Mission in Gulf Breeze, FL is seeking a Part-Time Key Carrier to support store operations under the Thrift Store Manager. This role focuses on supervision, merchandising, training, and responsibilities across the store in a faith-centered nonprofit setting.

You will work up to 29 hours per week in a team-driven environment that values safety, reliability, and customer service, with duties that include expense control and helping staff and volunteers meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Christian Commitment: Must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and possess high levels of ethics, honesty and character.
• Education/Experience: High School degree/GED or 2 or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and be insurable by the Waterfront Rescue Mission insurance carrier.
• Must have reliable transportation.

The Waterfront Rescue Mission, recognized in 2025 as one of the Best Christian Workplaces in the country, is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety-minded and team oriented Part-Time Key Carrier. Under the direction of the Thrift Store Manager, the Key Carrier supports store management in achieving efficiency in store operations, merchandising, training, and various other assigned areas of responsibility within a Thrift Store. This is a part time position working up to 29 hours per week. Primary duties include but, are not limited to, supervision and accountability of employees, volunteers and clients. Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned. Store hours are 9 am - 6 pm Monday - Saturday and closed Sunday.
