Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain cleanliness in office spaces, restrooms, break and lunch areas, remove trash, operate floor cleaning equipment and power washers, and manage spill cleanup.

Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference areas.
  3. Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
  4. Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer for sidewalks.
  5. Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, glass, and equipment in various areas.
  6. Resupply items as needed.
  7. Use floor cones to mark hazardous areas.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
  • Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
  • Willing and able to learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
  • Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English relevant to the job and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to company performance standards, including attendance and safety.
  • Willing to wear approved work attire and shoes.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum shift: 4 hours or more, depending on business needs.
  • Job involves continuous activity.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand approximately 55%, walk 45% of the time.
  • Category IV physical demands: lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.
