The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District isseekingaPT Instructor, Japanese for Chabot College. Applicantswill be expected to provide instruction in integrated listening,speaking, reading, composition, and culture. The immersionapproach to second-language learning is the desired approach forour world-language courses.

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Master's inthe language being taught OR Bachelor's in thelanguage being taught AND Master's in another language orlinguistics OR the equivalent.

Evidence of understanding of and responsiveness to the diverseacademic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity,sexual orientation, racial and ethnic backgrounds of communitycollege students, as these factors relate to the need forequity-minded practices within the classroom.
