Job summary

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a PT II PRN with 19 hours weekly to evaluate patients and develop therapy plans of care. This role provides patient education, supports families, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to reach individualized goals.

The position serves as a preceptor and resource, mentors staff, and contributes to quality metrics and best practices while maintaining safety and exceptional patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of PT experience or completion of HM residency.
• Licensed PT in Texas or with compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an approved PT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete evaluations and develop PT treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families and act as resource to fellows.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team and modify plans.
• Balance caseload and lead department quality improvements.
• Precept and mentor staff and supervise students.
