Job summary

Ellis Home & Garden on Richmond Rd. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a part-time Greenhouse Associate to help operate our store day-to-day. The role involves tending plants, assisting customers, unloading deliveries, and maintaining clean, stocked spaces.

Ideal candidates will have greenhouse experience, be 18+, and able to lift 50+ pounds. Nights and weekends availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Retail point of sale experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working in a greenhouse/garden center setting.
• Must be available nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Tend to plants and flowers inside the greenhouse.
• Unload delivery trucks and assist customers with purchases.
• Clean, stock shelves and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities And Duties

This position will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.

Qualifications And Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly
