Ellis Home & Garden on Richmond Rd. in Beaumont, TX is now accepting applications a for PT Greenhouse Associate position. This position will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis.

Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment. This role focuses on tending plants in the greenhouse, assisting customers with purchases, unloading deliveries, stocking, cleaning, and any other duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Retail point of sale experience preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Experience working in a Greenhouse/Garden Center setting.
• Must be available Nights & Weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Tend plants and flowers inside the greenhouse.
• Unload delivery trucks and stock before opening hours.
• Help customers with purchases and provide assistance.
• Clean and maintain greenhouse and store areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.
