Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and balance at end of shift.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic store operations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible
• Ensure front end area is neat and presented well
• Maintain knowledge of front end procedures including cash reports, deposits and money orders
• Operate and troubleshoot the MVP savings center KIOSK and other front end tools
• Perform sales associate tasks when scheduled or per surge plan
• Assist in maintaining overall service standards and store appearance
• Adhere to Food Lion policies and safety guidelines
