Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center functions.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for functional duties.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate, friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers and use names when possible.
• Maintain neat and clean front end presentation and procedures.
• Operate cash register, deposit handling and related accounting tasks.
• Report register issues and keep MVP savings center functioning.
• Assist as sales associate or lead as needed per surge plan.
• Follow dress code and Food Lion guidelines; wear name badge.
• Complete CBT and training courses as assigned.
