Responsibilities

This position plans, leads, facilitates, and instructs for maximum student learning and socialization in a university classroom. Meets established outcomes based on daily lesson plans and capacity to master learning objectives. Provides activities designed to create interest and enthusiasm for personal grasp of knowledge. This position calls for an individual with social/emotional teaching and learning experience. The instructor will be responsible for teaching adult sped students about personal safety, health boundaries, preventing harassment, preventing bullying, making safe choices, etc. Work hours vary between 12:45 to 7:45 pm, depending on classes taught and needs of the program.

• Experience with individuals with disabilities is required.
