Job summary

Universal Health Services' River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a part-time Food Service Worker to support daily meal service for adolescent and adult patients. The role involves salad prep, beverage service, and assisting in patient meal delivery, while helping keep the cafeteria, dining room, and kitchen areas clean and stocked.

You will operate the dish machine, monitor temperatures, and assist cooks with desserts and meal bags for late arrivals.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education preferred.
• At least 1 year prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cafeteria and dining room cleanliness at all times.
• Stock kitchen and cafeteria supplies on each floor and units.
• Operate the dish machine and record machine temperatures and sanitizer levels.
• Monitor and record temperatures of milk box, staff refrigerator and small freezer.
• Assist cooks with desserts and meal preparation.
• Ensure after-hours bagged meals are available for late patient arrivals.

The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following: Assisting with preparing individual salads, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and unit supplies, operating the dish machine and recording machine temps and sanitizer PPM, observing and recording the milk box temperature, the staff refrigerator and small freezer temperatures, assisting the cook as required and preparing the desserts for each meal and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required and stocking cafeteria with needed items, going to all units for patient counts and checking on juice, coffee, cups and lids, and condiment needs. Ensure the after hours' refrigerator has the appropriate properly dated bagged meals available for late patient arrivals. Responsible daily to the department Daily Aide Check List.

Qualifications

Prefer 8th grade education and at least one (1) year prior experience.
