Job summary

UPS sucht in Columbus, Ohio, eine Teilzeit-Dispatch-Position im Bereich Feeder Dispatch Supervisor. Die Hauptaufgabe ist die Unterstützung und Überprüfung der UPS-Small-Package-Dispatch-Aktivitäten, um termingerechten Service, Sicherheit und Kostenziele zu gewährleisten.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-Abschluss bzw. international äquivalent – bevorzugt.
• Fähigkeit, 32 kg (70 lbs) zu heben.
• Verfügbarkeit für flexible Schichtzeiten, bis zu 5 Tage pro Woche.
• Gute mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
• Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office.
• Arbeiten in einer schnelllebigen Lagerumgebung.
• Führungserfahrung – bevorzugt.

Employee assists with dispatch planning and is responsible for ensuring that service, safety, and cost goals are met. This position coordinates with others to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently along with adequate staffing and equipment levels for transportation needs. Employee oversees load and tractor planning and assignments, monitors load movements, and tracks the condition of equipment. This position reviews, analyzes, and tracks various dispatch and service reports and schedules. Employee creates efficient dispatch plans, verifies service levels, addresses performance issues, and incorporates modifications such as new customers, new locations, and additional loads into dispatch plans.
