Coast Community College District invites applications for part-time, temporary geology instructors to join our faculty pool. You will provide quality instruction aligned with approved curriculum and foster a learning environment that encourages discussion and inquiry.
Minimum qualifications include one of the specified credentials and evidence of sensitivity to diverse student populations. Applicants should submit online with supporting documents; the pool remains active as needed.
Employment is part‑time, temporary, and contingent upon verification of employment history, background verification as governed under Education Code requirements, eligibility to work in the United States, and approval by the CCCD Board of Trustees. Hours of work and effective dates will be arranged with the supervisor.
This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part‑time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as‑needed basis. Departments may refer to the pool of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. Part‑time faculty applications are accepted year‑round and will remain in the pool for one year.
Based on LHE (Lecture Hour Equivalent) in accordance with the current Part‑Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
