Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required.
• Valid teaching certificate (Georgia) required.
• Special Education, ESOL, and Gifted endorsements may be required.
• Experience with in-person and virtual instruction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant, subject matter-specific, and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone, email, or video.
• Creates an engaging classroom environment for diverse learners.
• Uses technology to provide instruction and collaboration.
• Assesses and reports progress and attendance.
• Supervises student behavior per school policies.
• Participates in conferences with parents, students, counselors, and administrators.
• Directs paraprofessional or instructional aide when needed.
