Yale New Haven Health (Smilow Cancer Hospital) is seeking an experienced oncology nurse educator to oversee patient education content, programs and processes. The role collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure education materials are evidence-based and appropriate for all patient education levels.
The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, CT RN licensure, and at least five years of oncology nursing experience.

This position is responsible for the oversight of oncology patient education content, programs and processes which will improve the overall patient educational experience. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient education content is evidence-based and appropriate for patients at all educational levels.

Masters Degree in Nursing required
Minimum of five years experience in oncology nursing required. Relevant certification preferred.
Candidates must possess a CT RN license
Candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities as well as exceptional clinical knowledge and skill. She/he should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the interpersonal ability to serve as a resource for nursing staff and patients being treated for cancer. Responsible for managing patient education programs for the Smilow patient population.
