Job summary

Soule Early Childhood Center in Brookline is hiring part-time EEC-certified teachers to work with toddlers and preschoolers in a Montessori/Reggio-inspired setting. The afternoon shift (1:30 PM–5:15 PM) requires Monday–Friday availability and a warm, collaborative approach.

We offer professional development and EEC training, a supportive team, and a pay range of $24–$26 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current EEC Certification (Teacher or Lead Teacher).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Soule Early Childhood Center - Town of Brookline Recreation Department

The Town of Brookline’s Soule Early Childhood Center is hiring EEC-certified part-time Teachers to join our dynamic and supportive team! We are seeking warm, enthusiastic, and experienced educators who are passionate about working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 15 months - 5 years). At Soule, we honor the unique spirit of each child and educator. Our nurturing and play-based Montessori/Reggio inspired environment fosters independence, creativity, self-directed learning, and joy. Part-Time Schedule Options (Monday-Friday Required):

• Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM - 5:15 PM

Applicants must be consistently available Monday through Friday for this afternoon shift.
