Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring a deli team member at our Lititz, PA location. You will handle and stock deli products, wrap, slice, weigh, label, and help maintain attractive displays while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will follow food safety standards, assist with inventory, and keep prep and service areas neat. Prior experience is helpful, but training is provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service is an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, to include stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product (weights typically <30 lbs).
• Maintain proper cooler conditions (coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, weights up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain proper prep area conditions (cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, equipment).
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions (sweeping, mopping).
• Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service; make recommendations and promote products.
• Must dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Must complete ELM training courses as added to the learning page.
• GENERAL RULES: follow safety and policy procedures.
