The main responsibility of this role is to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. Tasks include receiving, processing, preparing, wrapping, slicing, weighing, marking, packaging products, and maintaining attractive, signed displays.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide quality customer service to consumers, co-workers, vendors, and business associates.
2. Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
3. Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, and rotating products (typically under 30 lbs).
4. Maintain cooler conditions, organize cases (sometimes over 20 lbs, up to 50 lbs), and clean.
5. Keep prep areas clean and sanitized.
6. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
7. Ensure a safe, clean sales floor, including sweeping and mopping.
8. Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, and promote products.
9. Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
10. Complete required training courses.

General Rules

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.

• Work in temperature extremes, including freezer environments.
