Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this job is to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. Team members receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package product, and stock shelves, cases, and bins, while maintaining neat attractive conditions and properly signed displays.

Duties And Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Primary accountability for specific functions and results)
• Provide quality customer service, assisting customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler and prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, answering questions and promoting products.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete required training courses.

GENERAL RULES
• Report all accidents and injuries promptly.
• Follow safety instructions and report unsafe conditions.
• Wear appropriate apparel and PPE.
• Follow emergency procedures.
• Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Know MSDS information and complete required safety training.
• Use proper lifting procedures and keep work areas clean.
• Never leave machinery unattended.
• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Understand and follow all safety and operational policies.

Qualifications
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Able to use or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements
• Minimum 4-hour shifts or more.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55% of the time, walk for 45%.
• Work in various temperatures, including freezer environments.

Preferred Requirements
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
