Summary

Primarily responsible for performing all duties of a paying and receiving customer service representative. Work is varied in nature with changing priorities. This position requires a high degree of initiative, discretion and judgement. Incumbent applies working knowledge of customer service operations to work performed. Works under limited supervision. Must comply with various laws, regulations, established policy and procedures integrated with the teller software. Is skilled in the areas of new accounts, transaction processing, vault, safe deposit and branch operations while always providing exceptional customer service. Customer Service Representatives are responsible for helping meet the branch deposit growth goal set by management annually. May work at various locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Knowledgeable about the Bank's products and services; able to identify customer needs and sell accordingly, maintaining high service standards.
2. Help meet branch deposit growth goals through sales referrals and developing new business relationships.
3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving errors, and handling problems promptly.
4. Operate personal computer for processing account activities, balances, and problem resolution.
5. Assist with branch operations, including opening accounts, processing transactions, and safe deposit duties.
6. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and security procedures.
7. Support community engagement and represent the bank in community functions.
8. Maintain accurate documentation for all transactions and accounts.
9. Perform other duties as assigned, including support for various operational areas.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. 1-2 years related experience or training preferred. Must have knowledge of banking products, customer service, and basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and work well in a team environment.
