Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative in McHenry, IL 60051. Starting pay is $15 per hour with raises at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter.

Shifts are 4:30pm–11:30pm Monday to Thursday. You will greet members, sign up new members, assist with amenities, answer calls, and promote fitness classes while ensuring a clean, welcoming club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones politely and follow the information script.
• Greet members, sign up new members, and tour facilities.
• Log amenities and respond to questions promptly.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new sign-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment.

4:30pm-11:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
