Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding friendly customer service.
2. Follow all company policies and procedures.
3. Clean check-stands daily and assist with spill and breakage cleanup.
4. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policies.
5. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
6. Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
7. Support safety standards; report equipment issues and keep work areas safe.
8. Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
9. Perform accurate price checks.
10. Manage store supplies to prevent waste.
11. Sweep floors and assist with cleaning duties.
12. Respond promptly to spills and hazards to prevent accidents.
13. Observe security standards and report suspicious behavior.
14. Maintain store cleanliness and orderliness inside and outside.
15. Sort returnable bottles per vendor requirements where applicable.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks.
• Ability to perform technical job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent repetitive motions while standing.
• Bend and lift up to 15 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Handle various substances including cleaning and household materials.
• Work in diverse weather conditions when necessary.
• Gather and push shopping carts.
• Move bottles and containers as applicable.

Preferred Requirements:

• Greet customers and provide courteous assistance.
• Package merchandise per policies.
• Sort and return stock items, prioritize perishables.
• Manage shopping carts and provide carryout service.
• Record bottle returns accurately and operate bottle crushing equipment safely.
• Meet physical requirements of the role, with accommodations if needed.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
