Job description

Part – Time Correctional Officer - Lackawanna County Prison 3‑24‑26

Responsible for the routine work involved in the care, custody and control of inmates at the Lackawanna County Prison. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain or an Administrative Superior. Sufficient physical strength, good health and the ability to physically maintain control of inmates on an as needed basis. Also, responsible for the control, security and supervision of a community based work detail of inmates working outside the confines of the institution on a daily basis.
