Job summary

Maimonides in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a dedicated Cook to support residents with nutritious meals and adherence to dietary requirements. The position is based at 6401 Auburn Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, maintaining a clean kitchen, collaborating with the dietary team on menus and events, supervising Dietary Assistants, and ensuring policy and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cooking or food service.

• Monitors Dietary Departments proper functioning to ensure quality service.
• Works closely with Assistant Director and Director of Food Services to ensure adherence to policy and quality of service.

Your Role as a Cook:

At Maimonides, our Cook provides essential care to our residents by:
