Maimonides Health Center in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Cook to deliver culinary services to residents and staff. The position offers 6a-2p openings, flexible full-time shifts, and benefits including PTO and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.

The Cook will prepare meals, maintain a clean kitchen with food-safety standards, collaborate with the dietary team on menus, supervise Dietary Assistants, and coordinate with the Director of Food Services to ensure service quality.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be ServSafe Certified.
• 1 year experience in cooking.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and cooks meals and snacks for residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and may assist with special events or themed meals.
• Directs, evaluates and disciplines Dietary Assistants to assure proper meal preparation.
• Monitors Dietary Departments proper functioning to ensure quality service.
• Works closely with Assistant Director and Director of Food Services to ensure adherence to policy and quality of service.
