Job summary

Amplify Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time cook at Uintah High School to prepare and serve meals in accordance with district guidelines.

This voucher position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating Food Service Software, and maintaining a clean kitchen; 19.5 hours weekly with no benefits. Applicants must be 21 years or older; food handlers permit is required; relevant experience with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food under the direction of the unit manager.
• Assist with the daily cleaning of kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of items such as milk crates, frozen foods, canned foods, etc.
• Record meals served and prepare various reports using Food Service Software.
• Collect lunch money.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
