Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service: welcome and connect with each customer, recommend products, and enhance their experience through sampling and demonstrations.
  • Produce high-quality products following company standards, including visual and product quality, safe food handling, and proper merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage.
  • Present oneself professionally during every shift.
Contribute to Store Profitability
  • Follow cash handling procedures and register policies.
  • Adhere to inventory and stock guidelines.
Learn and Demonstrate Knowledge as a Barista
  • Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training.
  • Learn and demonstrate standards of product quality and conduct as established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
Qualifications
  • Preferably supervisory and/or barista experience.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
  • Meet performance standards, including regular attendance.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4 hours or more.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for 55% of the time, walk 45%, sit none.
  • Category IV tasks: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.; max pull static: 20 lbs.
