Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join the medical team at the Harnett County Detention Center in NC. This part-time role requires weekend coverage every other weekend, with daily medication administration and nursing collaboration to ensure safe patient care.

You will document vital signs, assist with inventory, and maintain confidentiality while delivering compassionate, efficient service in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications: What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll help provide safe, efficient medication services and support daily clinical operations by:

• Administering medications according to certification, physician orders, and facility protocols
• Following the Five Rights of Medication Administration
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Monitoring patients and promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff
• Assisting with medication inventory, storage, and accountability
• Maintaining accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality
• Collaborating with nurses and healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care
