Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to operate the register, handle goods, provide customer service, restock items, clean, and assist with carts.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
2. Set up checkout areas, displays, and block aisles as needed.
3. Provide exceptional customer service.
4. Operate the register, handle cash, and give change.
5. Bag items and manage carts as necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn and use necessary equipment.
• Complete the company's introductory period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved.
• Possess relevant technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours or more.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV physical demands.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
