Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to operate the register, handle goods, make change, bag orders, and assist with restocking, cleaning, and other tasks as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Set up checkout areas, displays, and block aisles as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle transactions, make change, and bag items.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn to use necessary equipment.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes.
• Have technical training specific to the role.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55% of the time, walk for 45%.
• Category IV lifting, carrying, and P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
