Primary Purpose

The main responsibilities include scanning and entering numbers on registers, lifting and moving goods, making change, bagging orders, and handling special projects such as restocking, replenishing front-end items (candy, gift cards, snacks), cleaning, and assisting with carts.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Set up aisles, checkout areas, and displays as needed.
3. Provide exceptional customer service.
4. Count items, handle money, and give change.
5. Bag items and place bags into carts as necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn and use the necessary equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.
• Possess relevant technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
