Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to operate the register, handle goods, provide customer service, and assist with restocking and cleaning duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, prepare equipment and supplies at shift start, and comply with PPE requirements.
• Set up checkout areas and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and give change.
• Bag items and assist with carts when necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet physical and ergonomic requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment.
• Complete the company’s introductory period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Possess technical training relevant to the role.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55% of the shift, walk for 45%.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs, static pull up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
