Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix, color, load, frost, and decorate cakes with frosting.
3. Take, complete, and store bakery orders in the cooler.
4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Able to learn and operate necessary equipment and tools safely.
• Willing to wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%, Sit: 0%, Walk: 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Compensation

Salary Range: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour.
