DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix and color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost and decorate cakes.
3. Take, complete, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Willing to wear proper clothing and shoes for the job.
• One year of work experience or technical training preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum shift: 4 hours or more based on business needs.
• Job involves continual movement.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk for 45% of the time.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
