We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. Behavior Technicians play an extremely important role in our clients' daily lives. This position involves active teaching, behavior support, supervision, communication, data collection, and assisting with client care needs throughout the session. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities and implements behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients build essential life skills, improve social interactions, and reduce challenging behaviors.
You are never expected to know everything right away. Questions are always encouraged, and supervisors, BCBAs, peer mentors, and experienced staff are available to help. We strongly value communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and ask for help when unsure.
This role is a strong fit for students and professionals who want to grow in the field. We work closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, mental health professionals, case workers, and school social workers, which gives our team a firsthand look at the different supports and resources available to our clients. We offer flexible scheduling with a range of shift options to choose from. Most positions are 16 to 30 hours per week, and we are happy to work around your other job or your class schedule. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday.
Weekday evening shifts start between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm and end no later than 7:30 pm.
