Job summary

Hotel Lincoln, a boutique property in Chicago, seeks a Banquet Captain to lead events with precision and warmth. You will coordinate banquet servers, liaise with event planners and culinary teams, and ensure flawless execution of every function.

You bring at least one year of banquet experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while upholding the highest service standards. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• One year banquet attendant/server experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and catering operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license, where applicable.

As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring that all banquet events are executed flawlessly and to the highest standards.
