Montage Health is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in providing patient-centered care across age groups. The PTA assists with treatment plans, administers therapeutic interventions, and monitors progress under supervision, ensuring compliance with licensure and safety standards.

Required qualifications include PTA licensure or PTLA status and CPR certification.

Formación

• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Per diem scheduling and hours may vary depending on department needs.

Job Description

Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant is an educated, licensed health care provider who assists the Physical Therapist in the provision of physical therapy. The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapy Assistant shall work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides services within the limits of the law/licensure. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and broad job knowledge.

Experience

At least 1 year of current experience is preferred.

Education

Education sufficient to obtain required licensure as determined by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee. Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients requiring the applicable skill, and must complete and pass all annual competencies.

Licensure / Certifications

Physical therapist assistant license or Physical Therapy License Applicant (PTLA) status is required.

American Heart Association Health care provider CPR certification is required.

Pay & Shift Differentials

Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $46.61 to $62.36 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.

• Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.68
• Hourly Night Shift Differential: $4.02
