Job summary

Sunrise Retirement Community in Sioux City, IA is seeking a part-time 1st shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team. You will provide direct assessment and care to residents and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires current nursing licensure and ability to manage care within long-term care regulations, along with strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have current nursing license and be allowed to practice nursing in a qualifying state
• Able to perform nursing duties following long term care regulations and supervisor scope of practice
• Able to problem solve situations and implement interventions and solutions
• Able to supervise nursing assistants and have some supervisor experience
• Able to attend all mandatory trainings and keep current on all certifications (CPR, Mandatory Reporter, etc.)

Job DetailsJob Location: Legal Address - Sioux City, IA 51106Job Shift: DaySunrise Retirement is seeking PT 1st Shift Charge Nurses (RN or LPN) with a $1500 sign on bonus!

Duties Include:

1. Provide direct assessment and care to the residents of this facility.
2. Provide supervision of nursing department employees and evaluation staffing patterns to ensure quality care to all residents.
3. Provide emergency services to the residents of independent living community
4. Provide quality care with a positive attitude and great customer service.

These positions are mainly on the 6am- 2:30 shift.

QualificationsJob Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

1. Frequently lifts in excess of 35 pounds in performance of daily duties.
2. Frequently required to push/pull wheelchairs, carts, and other equipment in the performance of daily duties.
3. Frequently required to climb, balance, crouch, kneel and stoop in the performance of daily duties.
4. Frequently required to use finger dexterity and grasping in the performance of daily duties.
5. Frequently required to use reaching and repetitive movements in the performance of daily duties.
6. Able to work with bloodborne pathogens, chemical hazards and respiratory hazards.
