Job summary

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling in New York offers a remote psychotherapy role for clinicians with NYS licensure in LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP. The position focuses on PTSD/OCD populations, with training reimbursement and a flexible, supportive environment designed to respect privacy and professional growth.

You will conduct intake assessments, provide individual and couples therapy if desired, and maintain thorough documentation.

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a group private practice that provides psychotherapy to young adults, Middle aged adults, elderly, and couples. We work with a wide range of communities, groups and populations.

Candidates must have a private and confidential area for remote video therapy. We offer $500 per year to eligible clinicians to go toward trainings of their choice!

Who You Are

We are currently seeking a psychotherapist with a proven track record of working with patients struggling with PTSD and PTSD-related issues or Obessive Compulsion Related Disorders. We encourage applications from therapists who are passionate about providing inclusive and culturally competent mental health services. Candidates with formal training in the Trauma or OCD are preferred.

What You Bring

• Active NYS LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP license.
• Proven success utilizing intervention, not limited to DBT, ACT and/or CBT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
