Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Clearwater, FL seeks a Psychotherapist Intern to provide psychotherapy and assessments in an outpatient setting. The role supports a team of professionals and offers flexible scheduling as an Independent Contractor with telehealth options.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have an active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one; outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
• Active Florida intern license or in the process of getting one.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
