Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO, is seeking a full-time position in Neurosurgery to administer psychological and neuropsychological testing. The role is onsite at the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion with dayshift schedule and hourly pay starting at $24.11 and going to $36.17, depending on experience.

Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's in Psychology or related field; a Master's is preferred, with CSP certification and state licensure highly regarded. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

  • Observes, manages, and documents patient's behavior and condition throughout the testing process.
  • Enters testing/patient conditions and test results into patient records and communicates results to the healthcare team.
  • May perform and/or assist with research, scheduling, insurance verification, coding, billing, and reimbursement/collection activities.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Administers psychological and neuropsychological tests to aid healthcare providers with diagnosing and treating patient conditions.

Responsibilities

Administers and scores prescribed psychological testing, including cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, personality, and emotional testing.

Observes, manages, and documents patient's behavior and condition throughout the testing process.

Enters testing/patient conditions and test results into patient records. Communicates results to patient's healthcare team.

May perform and/or assist with research. May perform scheduling, insurance verification, coding, billing, and reimbursement/collection activities.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field. Preferred: Master's degree in Psychology or Clinical Social Work.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: None Required. Preferred: Certified as a Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) by The Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP), and/or state licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor. Strongly preferred: Fluent Spanish speaking skills
