Job summary

Cdapeds is seeking a Psychometrist to administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. The role includes gathering behavioral data during testing and providing detailed observations to aid interpretation.

You will adhere to APA ethics, document progress notes, and help with administrative tasks in the testing department. Regular attendance and reliable performance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or other related fields.
• 1 year of work experience in a mental health clinic or similar institution
• CPR certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Writes progress notes to keep other clinical personnel informed of patient behavior
• Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information
• Observes each patient’s behavioral conditions throughout the testing processes
• Provides observation summaries for each patient
• Scores evaluations in a standardized manner
• Performs inventory checks on forms and tools needed prior to conducting tests
• Assists with administrative tasks within the testing department
• Assist with pre-testing screening process
• Assist with assimilating collateral contacts
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Required to stand, sit, and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment in a clinic. Work may be demanding and chaotic at times. Exposed to patient population that will present a variety of contagious diseases, physical injuries, and emotional states of mind.
