Job summary

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist to conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing across the lifespan in our Bountiful office, 4–5 days a week with training in other NBCG offices.

Under a team of licensed psychologists, you will administer and score assessments, prepare materials, and enter data to support client reports. This role is ideal for someone with an undergraduate psychology degree seeking hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related major (e.g., neuroscience).
• Experience in mental/behavioral health and working with children is preferred.
• Experience with assessment or research and statistical analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages.
• Prepare materials, protocols, and stimuli; input client information to set start points and norms for data collection.
• Assessments must be administered and scored professionally, ethically, and per directions.
• Scan and upload results to the client file for interpretation by the psychologist.
• Enter numerical data into the client report during data compilation.
• Build rapport with clients, ensure comfort, and assess their needs during testing sessions.

Job description

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist 4-5 days a week in our Bountifuloffices to assist in psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. There are potential growth opportunities available in the role within our company.

Our psychometrists work under the direction of a team of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists in several offices from South Ogden to Salt Lake City. This position would primarily be in our Bountiful location after training.

This would be a great position for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology to gain firsthand experience in the psychology field.

Minimum Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in psychology or other relevant major i.e., neuroscience

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with the mental and behavioral health field and patient population
• Experience working with children
• Experience with assessment or research, statistical analysis

Responsibilities:

• Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages and abilities.
• Prepare all materials, protocols, and stimuli needed for administration. This involves entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection.
• Assessments must be administered and scored professionally, ethically, and by following specific directions.
• Scanning and uploading all of the results to the client’s file for the psychologist to then interpret.
• Entering all of the numerical data derived from the assessments into the client’s pending report.
• Build rapport with the client, ensure their level of comfort, and sense their needs during the testing session.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday Approximately 8:30 am - 5:30 pm - 4 or 5 days a week
This position is full-time, working 30+ hours per week in our Bountiful office there is some potential for hours in West Jordan or Salt Lake City if the candidate desires as well.

Hourly pay based on experience.

Full-time employees working more than 30 hours per week are eligible for our benefits package after an eligibility and probationary period.
